The admission procedure is organized as follows:

Please fill out the application form

and add the following documents:

• Curriculum Vitae
• A two-page description of your motivation to study including future research interests (in English)
• Graduation certificates from previous degrees or, if you have not finished yet, transcripts of your records of the courses
• Proof of English language proficiency, for details see application form

This is an address of the organization uni-assist. uni-assist coordinates the application of international students. More than 100 universities are associated with uni-assist.

You have to send your application to this address. You can not send your application directly to our university. The administration of our university is not able to evaluate if an application from a foreign country meets the formal requirements for a master program. This task is performed by uni-assist.

You have to pay a handling fee to uni-assist. uni-assist will process your application if and only if this fee has been paid. Please make sure that the complete amount will be transferred to the account of uni-assist, otherwise uni-assist will not finish your application. For details see:

You may accelerate and simplify the application procedure if you use the online application mode of uni-assist. You don't have to use the online application mode, but this option provides some advantages:

On this page you have to choose the link on the bottom of the page. Do not use the link "Online application summersemester 2012".

You can decide if you prefer to use the online application mode or not. But for a final processing of your application you have to hand in authenticated hardcopies of all necessary application documents together with the printed and signed application form (see above) at uni-assist. The uni-assist handling fee has to be payed in both cases, too.
